Our Open Access Models
- Group Captive Model:You take an equity stake (minimum 26%) in the solar project and consume at least 51% of the power. This model offers the highest savings by exempting users from Cross-Subsidy Surcharge (CSS) and Additional Surcharge (AS).
- Third-Party Sale: Procure power through a long-term PPA without the need for equity investment. This is an "Opex-only" model that provides immediate savings without upfront capital.
- Captive (Dedicated) Park: For massive industrial clusters, we build and operate a dedicated solar park exclusively for your energy needs.

How Solar Open Access Works
Under the Open Access model, Urja Group develops large-scale solar parks with dedicated power evacuation, Transmission line Infrastructure. The clean energy generated is “wheeled” through the existing state or national transmission grid to your facility. You pay a competitive PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) rate that is significantly lower than standard industrial tariffs.
